Stéphanie COTTIN
Commissaire d’exposition indépendante, Stéphanie Cottin a co-fondé deux plateformes curatoriales basées sur le film d’artiste : en 2008 Vidéoclub et en 2014 Carosposo, qui proposaient respectivement des soirées de projection dans un lieu parisien choisi par l’artiste ainsi qu’une mise en ligne sur le site de Vidéoclub et pour Carosposo des projections mensuelles à la cinémathèque Robert Lynen à Paris, et des programmations pour le Bal Jaune (Fondation d’entreprise Ricard), au cinéma Le Brady, au Credac à Ivry, dans différentes galeries parisiennes et aux Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Très sensible à ce médium elle propose des expositions collectives, au 6B à Saint-Ouen, « Impression, soleil » (2011), à la galerie Jérôme Poggi, « Studio meublé » (2012), à l’école des Beaux-Arts d’Angers, « Génétique du générique » (2013), à la galerie 8 rue Saint-Bon, « Jean-Paul, Cathy, Peg Entwistle et les autres » (2013), au Centre d’Art Image/Imatge à Orthez, « Petit déjeuner au crépuscule » (2016).
Elle travaille sur l’artiste colombienne Emma Reyes (1919-2003), plusieurs expositions sont en préparation ici et en Colombie.
As an independent curator, Stéphanie Cottin co-founded two curatorial platforms based on the artist's film: in 2008 Vidéoclub and in 2014 Carosposo, which respectively proposed evening screenings in a Parisian venue chosen by the artist as well as an online presence on the Vidéoclub website and for Carosposo monthly screenings at the Robert Lynen cinematheque in Paris, and programming for the Bal Jaune (Ricard Corporate Foundation), at the Le Brady cinema, at the Credac in Ivry, in various Parisian galleries and at the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
